The Gambia is on the west side of Africa and is a six hour journey from Britain and Europe.

This distance is perfect because it is in the same time zone (no jet lag) but has perfect weather at the same time.

There are an increasing number of hotels in Gambia and also smaller family run accommodations varying in quality and price. These can be found by searching on the Internet.
